Music Block
Sheet music, TAB & playback
Music Block turns ChatGPT’s music answers into real, engraved sheet music instead of ASCII text. Ask about licks, scale fingerings, arpeggios, chord voicings, progressions, bass lines, grooves or exercises — “give me 5 licks in melodic minor over B7alt”, “show me four ways to resolve B7alt into Em”, “write a walking bass line over a ii–V–I” — and Music Block renders each example as engraved notation directly in the conversation: standard notation with tablature for guitar, or a grand staff for piano with both hands. Examples can sound like a band, not just a single line. ChatGPT can add backing tracks — bass, chords, pads, rhythm guitar and drums — so a lick plays over its chord changes and a groove has a rhythm section under it. Backing parts are heard during playback and can be engraved too, so a drum groove or bass lesson gets its own staff. Every example is interactive: press play to hear it with real instrument sounds, slow it down or speed it up from 50% to 150% without changing pitch, and mix the tracks yourself — mute or solo any part and adjust its volume to bring out the line you are studying. Switch between examples, and copy the underlying alphaTex source into your own tools. Music Block understands guitar technique markings — hammer-ons, pull-offs, slides, half- and full-step bends, vibrato, palm muting and let-ring — plus chord symbols above the staff, time signatures from 4/4 to 12/8, rests, dotted rhythms and pickups. Examples run from a single bar up to a 24-bar solo or chorus. It is built for learning and teaching: short, original musical examples composed by ChatGPT in your conversation. It does not look up or reproduce copyrighted songs or published transcriptions, and requires no account. Submitted examples and their rendered output are retained to operate and improve the service, as described in the privacy policy.
